Fall Events at St. John Lutheran Church
Reformation Sunday
Sunday, October 25
Worship - 9 AM
In a world that often feels like it stands on shifting sands, our church remains on the firm foundation of God’s Word - centered on the promises of Jesus Christ. Join us for this Reformation Sunday Service as we remember our firm foundation, our Lutheran heritage, and our calling in the world. After the service we will capture a congregational picture. You’re invited to wear red in honor of the Holy Spirit.
All Saints’ Sunday
Sunday, November 1
Worship - 9 AM
“In the waters of baptism we were called by God and identified as “saints” even while we were still “sinners.” Our saintliness comes through no work of our own, but on the holiness bestowed on us by Jesus.” - Sola Publishing
Join us as we remember our heavenly victory as redeemed saints in Christ Jesus. We will remember especially those who have joined the church triumphant in the last year and will close our service in the cemetery with a time of prayer and reflection. The service begins at 9 AM with an opportunity for fellowship to follow in the Parish Hall.
